Rio has been a blessing since the first day he arrived.  He is intelligent, athletic, confident, focused, biddable, strong and friendly.   This guy is always up for adventure including:  agility, rally, frisbee, dock diving, paddle boarding, herding (sheep, goats & ducks), rafting down the river, hiking up mountains (with or without snow), learning new tricks (both ones I teach him and ones he teaches himself), and even kicking back on the couch after a day of fun (yes, he has that very important “off-switch” feature).  He has incredible spacial awareness and intelligence that cause him to excel at every activity.  After work and play are done, he will often crack a huge smile while getting his scratches and belly rubs that just bring joy to your heart. Rio is the foundation stud dog for Living River Border Collies, and so much more, he is a furry member of the family :-).
